Eaton’s Corporate Sector is currently seeking a Senior Manager – IT Contracts.
Position Overview:
This position is a hybrid work model and can be based at any Eaton US facility.
Reporting into the VP of Partnerships & Innovation, the Senior Manager – IT Contracts is a key leader on the Global Eaton Sourcing Team and has an integral role in IT transformation efforts. This position will help positively impact the business through leading technologies, exciting and challenging enterprise projects, and new platforms.
This position will work with the largest IT service providers and innovative technology companies to develop business strategies and create a portfolio of contracts and SOW’s. This role will focus on improving Eaton’s complex end-to-end global procurement process from requirements to RFP development, supplier selection, contract negotiations and requisitions.
Essential responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute technical business requirements and technical specifications with particular emphasis on SOW and Master Terms and Conditions
- Direct the negotiation of technology contracts, including hardware, software, data, and cloud services
- Create and implement global sourcing strategies utilizing state of the art sourcing practices
- Own and manage technology spend enterprise wide
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT Operations, Security, and other cross functional partners, contributing to an environment of shared success
- Lead and assume responsibility for IT Sourcing Plan and Timeline development
- Drive programs across Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP), Data Analytics, business applications, Software Partnership Service leader and Stakeholders in application portfolio management, apps rationalization, VAR optimization, and other application related synergy activities
- Manages a portfolio of shared services, ERP, and digital application suppliers
- Support RFI/RFQ/RFPs from start to finish, including creation, issuance, and facilitation of the entire process, through vendor evaluations (using scorecards) and vendor selection
- Ensure the coordination of all supplier performance reviews, spend analytics, benchmarks & reporting
- Supports software licensing and asset management to ensure compliance to contract
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Advanced Degree (legal specialization, J.D.) from an accredited institution
• Minimum ten (10) years’ professional experience
• Experience managing multimillion dollar SaaS contracts
• Minimum three (3) years contract/vendor management experience within the IT/digital/software sourcing space
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The expected annual salary range for this role is $150,000-230,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
