Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a Senior Manager, IT Product Ownership – Supply Chain Planning to join our team. This position is a hybrid work model and can be based out of the following Eaton locations: Beachwood OH, Raleigh NC, Moon Township PA, Menomonee Falls WI, Galesburg MI or Houston TX. Position Overview:
The Senior Manager, IT Product Ownership – Supply Chain Planning is responsible for high complexity products with higher levels of impact on Eaton Business Outcomes. Work on these products may be considered transformational to Eaton’s business. The individual in this role will work closely with business partners and customers to define epics that align with key business objectives for the Scrum or Kanban team. This Senior Manager has a key role in enterprise-wide product implementation initiatives including Kinaxis RapidResponse.
As a leader within Eaton’s Information Technology function, this position will have direct management responsibility, developing and directing a team of analysts, engineers, to deliver business outcomes for their product area. The Senior Manager tracks and manages product funding and defines work priorities for individuals dedicated to the product team. They will balance new features against continuous improvement, system health, and support. This role will define and champion the product vision, roadmap, and epics, demonstrating the tie to business strategy to meet supply chain planning needs.
Essential functions include:
• Own the product backlog, managing and prioritizing user stories, decomposing epics into features, and continuous improvement work
• Guide the product development lifecycle, define user stories, and provide voice of the customer within product processes.
• Plan, manage, and track product funding and the team’s time. Is fully responsible for product budget and profit plan
• Manage a team of IT professionals, providing appropriate coaching to develop employee skills and continuously improve performance
• Develops and maintains product-specific persona and customer journeys
• Work closely with business stakeholders and customers, understanding their priorities and defining business outcomes and KPIs for the product in collaboration with those key stakeholders
• Communicate goals for product increments and releases. Define goals for team sprints.
• Support the onboarding of internal and external resources
• Accountable for product support, stability, and governance: including data, policy, cybersecurity, and usage
• Act as a functional expert in areas related to the product, including across Eaton’s portfolio
• Drive definition and continuous improvement of product processes (e.g., Lean, Agile, Scrum, DevSecOps, etc.)
• Understand commercial, business and go-to-market strategies where applicable
• Support a Secure Product Development Lifecycle approach that establishes a strong cybersecurity focus and culture across the entire engineering lifecycle
• Manage contracts with software and service vendors to support the product strategy. Manage vendor strategy and relationship.
• 25 percent travel expected
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum ten (10) years IT experience and/or experience leading ERP/supply chain planning tool implementations.
• Minimum five (5) years supply chain planning experience
• Minimum three (3) years management experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced to SME understanding Supply Chain Planning Applications (Kinaxis preferred)
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning (Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization) and Digitally Connected Supply Chains
• Deep understanding of the supply chain processes and applications within Industry.
• Advanced to Expert understanding of integration and impact points (boundary systems) of involved systems globally
• Strong understanding of ERP Applications (SAP, Oracle, Mfg Pro etc)

The expected annual salary range for this role is $150000.03 – $220000.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
