IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for a Senior Manager of the Large Loss/Complex/Major Case Property claims teams that can be located in one of the following offices:
- Cheshire, Connecticut
- Alpharetta, Georgia
- Naperville, Illinois
- Raleigh, North Carolina
- Scottsdale, Arizona
This role will oversee the management/technical claim handling of Large Loss/Complex and Major Case Property claims. IAT works on a hybrid schedule, working from the office Monday through Wednesday with the option of working remotely Thursday and Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the Large Loss/Complex/Major Case Property claims teams to ensure operational efficiency.
- Provide ongoing training, mentoring, coaching and guidance to staff
- Ensure that any investigation/ settlement /reserve/coverage matters are appropriately managed.
- Establish and maintain critical relationships with key stakeholders.
- Work with the SVP of Property on various matters as needed.
- Travel as required for business purposes
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Must have:
- Bachelors’ degree with 8+ years relevant Commercial/Homeowners Property claims experience or equivalent
- Equivalent is defined as 12 years of related experience, including the 8 years of Property claims experience mentioned above
- 5+ years of Management/Leadership experience
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain, within 3 months, applicable Insurance License(s)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate internally and externally.
- Excellent Microsoft office skills
- Advanced knowledge of insurance industry.
- Authorized to work in the United States and must not require, now or in the future, VISA sponsorship for employment purposes.

Compensation:
Please note, the annual gross salary range associated with this posting is $86,605 – $137,005. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary for this position. The total compensation will include a base salary, performance-based bonus opportunities, 401(K) match, profit sharing opportunities and more. Actual salary will vary based on various factors which may include specific experience and location.
