About The Role

As a part of the Corporate Marketing team, the Senior Manager provides essential brand management support for the business and oversees the Design and Creative services in the US Region. Reporting to the Director of Global Creative and Brand, EMEA the holder of this role will be responsible for ensuring all content goes to market on-brand. This role should be focused on developing a deep understanding of FTI Consulting’s brand system, an understanding of the firm’s narrative and a deep understanding of FTI’s business.

This position calls for the proven ability to interpret stakeholder goals and messaging and translate that into visually compelling, on-brand assets. The individual should work well with professionals at all

levels of an organization, welcome collaboration with colleagues, have a positive, can-do approach, a proactive attitude, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. The preferred candidate is solution-oriented and is comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment, where projects are often needed under tight timeframes and high-stake conditions, and is experienced with managing a small team of direct reports.

What You’ll Do

  • You will work directly with the marketing team to establish and implement creative best practices and strategy and create rigorous analytical processes
  • Set goals and KPIs and devise strategies through which to achieve them while implementing measurement plans
  • Prepare performance reports that monitor and analyze key media metrics, quality, and campaign performance
  • Liaising with the segment marketing leads and ensuring brand guidelines are carefully followed, that each brief is fulfilled and that the internal ‘client’ is happy with regards to final content and timescale. Following up each project for feedback and commentary, and encouraging the support of senior stakeholders within each business practise
    • Educate and reinforce brand guidelines among social media content curators and segment design resources.
    • Lead training to support compliance with new design tools and resources.
    • Review design work done by segment and regional marketing professionals for consistency.
    • Advise on creative and brand strategy for developing projects and campaigns.
  • Leading the creation and execution of original design work for external client pitch presentations. Projects would include any or a selection of; web, brochure, flyer, report and/or PPT style production, and each will require a varying degree of imaginative development.
  • Working with and managing a small team of direct reports; coaching employees to meet their goals and continue to grow in their role; managing workflow to ensure priorities are maintained
  • Working alongside marketing leads to develop strategy and produce original work for individual campaigns. This will entail being involved from the initial concept meetings through to the completion of each project.
  • Ensure final content is engaging, visually appealing and on-brand as well of consistent high quality
  • Promoting the facility within the business, presenting examples of finished work/successful outcomes to teams to encourage increased exposure and use of the service.
  • Oversee production management status of projects from development, prep, production, and post-production to delivery
  • Designing high-profile collateral, potentially including but not limited to: Annual Reports, Proxy Statements, Corporate and segment brochure, Annual Sustainability Report
  • Flexibility to and comfort with international teams across time zones

What You Will Need To Succeed

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years’ experience designing and delivering corporate material in a professional services environment
  • Advanced proficiency in design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop), as well as designing in Microsoft Office programs (Word, PPT). Experience with Ceros a plus.
  • Proven graphic design experience
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
  • Able to push creative boundaries and offer original ideas whilst remaining true to the corporate brand guidelines set by FTI Consulting
  • Confident working with corporate stakeholders at all levels. Skilful cross-cultural communicator
  • Strong understanding of what makes B2B content effective and commercial
  • Able to balance design workload, internal meetings, and responsibilities comfortably. Demonstrate track record of consistently meeting project deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail and able to produce error free work
  • Able to take ownership of document governance and work under minimal supervision
  • The ability to develop and maintain strong visual brand identities through content and design
  • Strong communication skills, including listening, verbal and written
  • Financial acumen: ability to manage invoices and budgeting
  • Ability to delegate tasks appropriately and effectively
  • Online portfolio required.

Colorado Pay Range: $97,500-$140,000

This pay range is only applicable to roles being performed in the state of Colorado. If selected for this role, your compensation will depend upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, your education, skill set, level of experience and job level. Candidates should not expect to be paid at or near the top end of the range upon hire, however offers are entirely dependent on the candidate’s experience. Note that this pay range is a reasonable estimate of what FTI would anticipate to pay for this role but is not guaranteed.
