Job Description:

Houston, Texas – Onsite

The Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our marketing strategy. This position offers the opportunity to lead and drive all aspects of marketing, including digital and traditional marketing, social media, website management, branding, graphic/infographic design, public relations, media relations, press releases, and partner/stakeholder messaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s objectives and growth plans.
  • Social Media Management: Create and manage compelling content across various social media platforms, monitor engagement, and analyze data to optimize social media campaigns.
  • Website Management: Oversee the company’s website, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with branding and marketing goals.
  • News Flyers and Collateral: Design and create visually appealing news flyers, brochures, and promotional materials to support marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Branding: Maintain and enhance the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and communication.
  • Graphic/Infographic Design: Produce eye-catching graphics, infographics, and visual content to convey complex information and engage audiences effectively.
  • Public Relations: Develop and execute PR campaigns to enhance the company’s image and visibility, including media outreach, events, and crisis management.
  • Media Relations: Cultivate relationships with relevant media outlets, secure media coverage, and facilitate interviews and press releases.
  • Press Releases: Write and distribute compelling press releases to announce company news, achievements, and events.
  • Partner/Stakeholder Messaging: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging and communication strategies.
  • Reporting: Gather and synthesize data from various functions to better tell our story.

Preferred Qualifications, but certainly not required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Master’s preferred.
  • Proven experience in marketing, ideally 7+ years.
  • Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Exceptional graphic design skills and proficiency in applicable tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in public relations, media relations, and press release writing.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends.
