Insight Global is looking for a Senior Manager of Data Platforms to join a Fortune 500 client in Coppell, TX. The Data Platform Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 30+ internal and external resources that make up the data team. This individual will oversee all aspects of data, including data/database management, data warehousing, ETL processes, data integration , report building, data modeling, data security, and data governance. The Senior Manager will assist with data architecture builds, managing vendors, working with internal business stakeholders, and driving numerous consecutive projects to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience with all fields on data engineering, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, and have a self-starter attitude.
Required Skills & Experience
– 5+ years of experience of full stack data engineering (data management concepts, data warehousing, ETL processes, data integration technologies, report building, data modeling, and data governance)
– 2+ years of managerial or lead experience (overseeing internal and outsourced resources)
– Experience and proven ability to build and validate data architecture
– Experience working in the Azure cloud. Well versed with Data Bricks and Data Lake
– Proven leadership/project management skills, strong problem solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to work cross functionally with business and technical teams in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
– Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
– Enterprise level experience
