The Music Licensing team is hiring an ambitious Senior Manager, Product Manager Tech to join our Royalties team. In this critical role you’ll help us transform our internal tools that enable us to account, report and pay millions of dollars of royalties to content partners across our services.
This role is on the Amazon Music Partner Payments and reporting team – our vision is to become the preferred royalties partner for all our content partners, globally. We will achieve this vision by creating unique, fan-first experiences that drive customer engagement and by providing artists with unparalleled opportunities to reach both new and established fans, wherever they are and however they prefer.

Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, Product Management – Technical, you will lead a team of high caliber product managers through innovation and driving development of new products and transformation of our existing tools. At Amazon Music, product managers are the CEO of the features they build and closely with Engineering, Business Development, and more, to set strategy, define and directly manage all aspects of the experience. A successful candidate will be customer obsessed, highly technical, analytical, have experience working in the FinTech space to build high quality experiences, and be adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and applications that customers love.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of team management experience
- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment
- Experience building enterprise tools to manage internal billing, tax, audit, pricing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
