Senior Manager: Program Management

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Program Management who will fulfill the Corporate Program Management Office (CPMO) Business Partner role to strengthen partnerships with business units and focus on Digital Transformation. The CPMO Business Partner will function as an advisor and relationship manager to Digital business unit leaders and the Chief Digital & Technology Officer for all portfolio, program & project management related activities. This function will provide excellence in program management expertise and value across our lines of business while strengthening alignment across the company and cutting down time to market that is essential for the digital change programs. The Business Partner will provide a better understanding of the needs of each business unit and create additional consistency and transparency into the major strategies that are important to our business. In this exciting and challenging role, candidates will be enabling portfolio level strategy execution while leading program/project managers to execute on Agile PMO functions.

This position will be filled to work at any Jack Henry office locations or Remotely within the U.S.

The target salary range for this position is $110,600 – $160,000, based on location and experience.

What you’ll be responsible for:
• Partnering with business unit senior leadership for their portfolio, program, and project management activities.
• Leading and collaborating with program management teams with oversight of related projects and resources with emphasis on digital solutions.
• Establishing and maintaining liaison between technical and non-technical departments across the enterprise to ensure all stakeholder requirements are met.
• Ensuring milestones are completed on schedule.
• Serving as a resource for escalated issues to resolution.
• Establishing priorities and assigning related projects resulting in the most optimal use of resources.
• Managing a team of professional Program Managers, Release Train Engineers, Project Managers and/or Scrum Masters.
• Implementing program and project management tools and methodologies.
• May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a software development lifecycle environment.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to travel up to 5% to attend meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.

What would be nice for you to have:
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe certification, or ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment.
• Experience in a role of a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or Program Manager in an agile environment.
• Experience working on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
• Ability to exercises independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining the solution.
• Strong knowledge of the financial industry.
• Knowledge of Jack Henry products and related 3rd party products.
• Expert knowledge and skills in the following areas:
• Customer relationship management
• Issue and risk management
• Understanding and the communication of complex business and technical scenarios
• Application of project management skills following company standards, policies, and procedures
• Managing multiple projects at a time
• Servant Leadership.
