Description
LandVest is searching for our next Marketing Communications Manager to help lead the company through an exciting time of growth in the execution of and management of our marketing and ad campaigns, content and social media program, and public relations. The role will oversee a team of three and requires excellent project management skills, great attention to detail, strong relationship management skills and practiced hands-on writing experience.
Understanding of and experience in the real estate industry is a big plus. Exceptional content creation skills are a must. Being able to translate complex properties and market data into compelling and interesting content is prized.
This can be a remote, hybrid or in-office position for candidates located in the Northeastern Region of the US. Occasional travel to Boston, MA will be required (2-4 times annually).

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop a deep understanding of LandVest’s target audience and develop a strategy on how to best to attract, engage, capture and convert leads while maximizing marketing ROI.
- Work with VP of Marketing Operations and Creative Communications Manager to re-imagine and execute a world-class LandVest content and social media program.
- Establish and execute content calendars for all corporate social channels, blog, the website, and email programs.
- Design/write/create/report/analyze social media posts and advertising.
- Review all LandVest social accounts to ensure compliance with brand standards.
- In partnership with senior management, produce thought-leadership papers establishing/maintaining and promoting LandVest’s position as a leading provider of Forestry and Real Estate services.
- Write press releases for key events and projects, properties.
- Pitch, maintain relationships with, and engage with media.
- Manage a team of up to 3 (web, advertising, social).
- Manage a diverse calendar of brokerage, brand, and forestry campaigns.
- Manage LandVest’s PR programs, maintain relationships with journalists, proactively pitch properties and brokers to the press, and write and distribute press releases.
- Review all creative to assure compliance with brand standards.
- Liaise with division managers, brokers, marketing coordinators, management and clients.
Requirements
- Education level: Bachelor’s degree or above
- 5 years of experience managing marketing campaigns, advertising agencies, and ad creative.
- 5 years experience managing and creating content for email, social media, and websites.
- 3 years experience in public relations, with examples of press releases. Familiarity with the New England media market a plus.
- Stellar proofreading skills.
- Previously authored/published written content, ideally both digitally and in print.
- Excellent project management skills and reliably be ahead of deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/ Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient in Google Analytics.
- Proficient with Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn Advertising.
- Proficient video editing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation. The position is remote but occasional travel to Boston will be required (2-4 times annually)
