Senior Marketing Communications Specialist

This exciting new role is a key part of bringing our brand stories & campaigns to life. Infineon is looking for a passionate and business-focused individual to evolve this role, drive effective social media and digital messaging, and act as the connector between creative, brand, and sales/marketing teams. You will work cross-functionally and take a strategic approach in recommending the optimal messaging and digital assets and executing the plan through our regional and global social media channels. Job description:

***This hybrid position is required to be based near our San Jose, CA office (preference). We are also open to having the role based near our El Segundo office.

In your new role you will:

  • Work closely with corporate & marketing communications, campaign managers, marketing leaders and other relevant stakeholders to jointly develop and execute an overall social media strategy with a focus on organic engagement & paid web traffic
  • Act as the bridge between global and regional creative, brand, and social media teams to implement aligned messaging, imagery, and a targeted audience experience
  • Identify relevant stories that prove our brand message and develop state-of-the-art social media formats for it
  • Manage and optimize social media promotions and campaigns
  • Develop extensive knowledge of Infineon’s vast pool of branded digital imagery (pictures, graphics, web pages, videos, templates) and create digital assets as needed for campaigns that adhere to Infineon’s brand guidelines
  • Be the advocate for social media within the communications team, and work with the team, employees, and leadership to increase corporate and individual engagement on social-including copywriting and/or suggested postings
  • Propose and drive media initiatives based on marketplace analysis
  • Recommend budget allocation, paid media cadence and timing to execute the strategy
  • Analyze 1st and 3rd party data to gauge overall campaign effectiveness and recommended adjustments
  • Contribute to creative ideation around experiential activations and customer engagement
  • Be a strategic thinker with the ability to execute quickly to ensure that campaigns and projects are developed and successfully completed on time
  • Work with manager to develop monthly hind sighting on program performance for executive stakeholders

Your Profile:

You have excellent communication and interactive skills with the ability to team with all levels in a global organization. As a strategic thinker you are innovative and creative in reaching a targeted audience and successfully engaging employees on social media.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
  • 4-7 years of experience in social media management including content planning on several channels, creative organic storytelling, and paid advertising
  • Excellent knowledge of current social media landscape, different channels, content & features, ideally with social in the high-technology space and B2B business
  • Expertise in social media paid advertising including targeting, budget planning, performance monitoring and KPI-driven optimization
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (CS5, CS6, or CC),specifically Photoshop and Illustrator, and video editing software
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience working in a CMS system (to build campaign landing pages) a plus
  • Exceptional ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively
  • Ability to extract both quantitative and qualitative insights to improve campaigns and achieve business goals
  • Highly organized, comfortable managing multiple work streams at once, keeping up to date tracking and calendar of activities
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written – comfortable in a team environment
  • Fast and eager to learn, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:

Minimum of $121,300 salary per year
Maximum of $166,800 salary per year

In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
