About the Role

The Senior Marketing Director will oversee the go-to-market strategy and operations for subscriptions partnerships. This means collaborating with partnerships and sales teams in the U.S., EMEA and APAC and leading efforts within the marketing organization to bring new partners to market to achieve business targets. The Senior Marketing Director will also manage partnership marketing operations post-launch and actively engage partners to support renewal.

This brand new hybrid role reports into the VP, Innovation and New Product Development, and will help build out this critical function alongside the VP. The marketing organization is in the NYC office three days a week.

You will

  • Advocate for the customer in the go-to-market planning and execution of new and existing partnerships.
  • Support VP in building framework, processes and documentation for enterprise subscriptions and the innovation function.
  • Partner with Product, Partnerships, Sales, Finance, Legal, Acquisition/Engagement and Brand Marketing teams to bring new products and partnerships to market.
  • Project manage pipeline of partnerships and innovation projects to grow subscriptions.
  • Manage partnership marketing and innovation budget.
  • Have an opportunity to grow and build a team.

You have

  • Willingness to work on-site in the (midtown) NYC office at least 3 days per week.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a subscription and/or comparable e-commerce business, including at least 5 years in a strategic marketing position; Experience in the media and/or publishing industry preferred, but not required. Demonstrated experience developing marketing strategies steeped in customer insights.
  • Partnership marketing and/or subscription partnership experience
  • Experience building structured frameworks, summarizing analysis, and communicating concepts.
  • Fluency in product positioning and marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the efficient execution of complex projects.
  • Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Range: $100,000 – $250,000
