Senior Marketing Manager, Digital

The role of the Senior Marketing Manager is to develop and strengthen long-term relationships with internal business teams by delivering revenue and business impact through digital display and online video advertising. This is achieved by aligning on clear business goals, developing a detailed understanding of marketing strategies, and by defining digital advertising strategies that are both effective and scalable. The ideal candidate will be innovative and have proven success influencing teams across large organizations. They will be comfortable working with complex challenges, appreciate white space, and understand the value of rapid test and learn approaches.

Key job responsibilities
• Build the digital advertising strategy of specific businesses within Amazon’s Digital Advertising Program.
• Define success criteria, design structured tests, and dive deep into data analysis to identify opportunities.
• Manage ad programs towards expected performance
• Communicate channel strategy, plans, and results with stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Contribute to the development of Amazon Advertising solutions by identifying feature gaps and providing requirements and corresponding business cases to internal Ad Tech teams.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Develop and evangelize new program initiatives leveraging the evolving technical landscape.
• Partner with technology teams to create and deliver against aggressive product roadmaps.
• Partner across finance, technology, and creative teams to plan, test, optimize, and grow new advertising initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

– Experience communicating results to senior leadership

– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

– Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

– Strong bias for action: ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– MBA

– Experience with ad delivery and optimization tools, ad servers, DMP’s, DSP’s or SSP’s a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
