The Senior National Sales Executive will work with the integrated account team to manage key aspects of the business relationship with Maverik/Kum&Go. This role will develop and implement Annual Business Plans that support business objectives across the Coca-Cola portfolio. This role will act as a system-wide expert on strategy, business systems, and operating philosophy with Maverik/Kum&Go. This role will ensure a flawless execution of programs throughout the system.
Location: This role is based out of the Salt Lake City, Utah area.
Relocation Assistance: Not available for this role.
Work Type: Remote (25-50% travel required to meet with the customer).

Function-Related Activities/Key Responsibilities
- Develops Annual Business Plan with customer, Bottler, and system input that outlines key strategies and initiatives for Coca-Cola growth within customer’s management and Bottler system.
- Ensures business plan and marketing activities are developed to deliver volume, profit, and customer satisfaction commitments made to all stakeholders during business acquisition and/or stewardship planning.
- Grows level of customer satisfaction, maintains win/win business relationships, and ensures effective communication with all key buying influences.
- Manages communication with Bottler system and customer field network to ensure constant application of strategies as outlined in the Annual Business Plan and flawless execution of programs.
- Aligns system resources to implement marketing and operational programs according to plan, schedule, and budget.
- Acts as a system-wide customer expert to ensure that the Coca-Cola system understands customer(s) objectives, strategies, positioning, and needs and that Company programs are consistent with their needs.
- Responsible for problem-solving operational or exceptional issues with customers or bottlers.
- Responsible for forecasting and managing to budget.
Education Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required.
Related Work Experience:
- Beverage/consumer packaged goods experience is an asset
- Experience in managing price package plans for customers
- 3-5 years of key account experience
- 3-5 years of progressive responsibility with account management in a large consumer goods organization.
- Complex selling knowledge with proven ability to create and sell customer-specific promotional programs & key initiatives.
- Strong understanding of The Coca-Cola bottler network, supply chain, IT systems, and business development planning experience.
- Solid understanding of Operations and execution elements of programs.
- Knowledge of trade funds and common business analytics
- General management experience and skill set.
- Proven ability to manage the needs and concerns of multiple stakeholders across various business systems.

- Customer & Commercial: Dev/Comm to Bottlers/Retail Sales Org – Develop and communicate to Bottlers, Retail Sales Organization (DSD & warehouse business) regarding promotional packaging production and key deadlines to ensure promotions are properly executed.
- Customer & Commercial: Obtain Coca-Cola Sys Alignment – Obtain Coca-Cola System alignment by following Operating Processes, Cold Drink Executive Committee Approval, Customer Marketing Agreement Committee (CMAC) approval, and Bottler/Distributor agreement to obtain system approval of plan.
- Customer & Commercial: Activate Sys to Dev/Impl Bus Plan/Sol – Activate The Coca-Cola Company System (e.g., cross-functional team members, segment resources) to develop and implement a business plan/solution that meets customer needs and drives beverage category profit and volume.
- Customer & Commercial: Orchestrate Deployment of Resources – Orchestrate the deployment of resources from Coca-Cola and customer systems (e.g., people, information, financial, management information system) to ensure profitable growth for customers and The Coca-Cola system.
Base Salary : $121,000 to $130,000
