Piper Companies is looking for a Sr. Network Engineer at a health care organization located in Philadelphia, PA for a hybrid full-time opportunity.
Responsibilities for the Sr. Network Engineer:
- Responsible for design and development of facilities to extend and enhance the IT Infrastructure for all telephony service and support, relating to all telecommunications technology, to include: Cisco VoIP, Unity, AVST voicemail systems, ACD, IVR and traditional telecommunications systems, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software.
- Interacts with end-users and all levels of management in developing turn key solutions to problems or creating efficiencies pertaining to telecom processes that impact the business.
Qualifications for the Sr. Network Engineer:
- 5-7 years of experience as a Network Engineer
- Expertise in working in and maintaining F5 and Infoblox environments
- Experienced with Layer 2 spanning tree protocols PVST and RPVST+.
- Experienced with Layer 3 routing protocols EIGRP running on Cisco Catalyst switches and ASR/ISR routers.
- Exposure to Layer 3 BGP routing protocol a plus.
- Ability to mesh and work well with other in house team members, contract, and vendor personnel.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio.
- Documentation skills arising from implementation and troubleshooting activities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and troubleshooting issues on a daily basis.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Compensation for the Sr. Network Engineer:
• Salary $110-$120K
