We are looking for a Senior Paralegal to join our team in Piscataway, NJ.
This is a hybrid position.
Drafting and Processing of External Innovation Agreements (under the supervision of CP External Innovation attorneys)
- Prepare initial drafts (based on templates) of Non-Disclosure, Material Transfer, Consulting, Services, Clinical, Statement of Work and Speaker agreements, as well as Renewals and Amendments;
- Negotiating terms of agreements based on pre-determined CP fallback positions;
- Communicating with CP attorneys on third party revisions that are not fallback positions;
- Corresponding with third parties on CP attorney-reviewed provisions;
- Obtaining signatures from third party and CP EVP’s on finalized documents for all EI attorney drafted agreements;
- Providing executed copies of signed agreements to third party and agreement Requester and maintaining electronic copies of them in Online Agreement Request System. (OARS)
- Miscellaneous clerical responsibilities
Agreement Portfolio Management
- Management of requests and executed agreement documents in Online Agreement Request System
- Manage (including assisting users) and update Online Agreement Request System
Interactions with Business Partners
- Providing guidance and feedback to agreement requesters on confidentiality obligations;
- Providing guidance and feedback to agreement requesters on agreement process and timelines;
- Corresponding with Commercial Legal Attorneys to provide/obtain information and copies of agreements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate
- 5+ Years of Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Contract/Agreement Drafting and Negotiation Experience
- Extensive experience using MS Word and Adobe Professional
- Experience using DocuSign/AdobeSign, Google tools (Docs/Sheets/Slides), Gmail

Salary Range $70,000 – $91,875 USD
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
