Job Description:
This is what you’ll do:
– Join a highly capable team to design industry leading power electronics units
– The Circuit Board Engineer will be responsible for designing circuit boards, including creation of associated CAD package and data files
– Interface with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to capture requirements needed for PWB
– Circuit board layout and design with challenging objectives related to size, voltage spacing, current capacity, and noise immunity
– PWB CAD tool library development and maintenance,
– Create Assembly drawings, incorporating key details related to unique manufacturing steps
– Interface with circuit board manufacturers and contract manufacturers to answer technical questions and quickly resolve issues
– Support circuit board Design.
This is what you’ll need:
– 10+ years’ experience developing power electronics circuit boards
– Extensive experience with PWB CAD packages Allegro, OrCAD and Altium
– Deep understanding of PWB design, manufacturing, and processes, including board stack up, conformal coating, spacing for high voltage applications
– Experience with high voltage and high current circuit board design and techniques used to satisfy these unique requirements.
