Amazon is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support the Amazon Logistics Strategic Planning and Process Engineering team. This individual will be the owner of a process/product roadmap of the next generation of AMZL delivery station including Multiple Modes of Transportation (MMOT). This is a unique opportunity at a critical juncture in Amazon’s growth to drive end to end product delivery from inception to execution, and to innovate at scale. We are looking for passionate hands-on leaders with experience managing new product and process development for high dollar value programs.
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to influence and work with senior leaders across multiple organizations and geographies. You will work with organizations such as Worldwide (WW) Engineering and Design, WW Ops Integration, Last Mile Delivery and Tech as well as Operations to innovate at scale and drive the development roadmap. You will manage large, complex initiatives, deal with ambiguity and advocate on behalf of the customer to develop the next generation of AMZL delivery station.
Key job responsibilities
- Initiate, define, plan and manage the roll out of the product features and enhancements for the next generation of AMZL Delivery Station including Multiple Modes of Transportation (MMOT).
- Work closely with a partner teams in Engineering, Tech and Operations to build impactful products
- Conduct deep dives into equipment and building design, process metrics and costs, and drive improvements on a daily basis
- Identify new programs to onboard and integrate.
- Lead execution of the product with high-level of discipline and engagement with the product development teams.
- Present concepts, designs, program updates and roadmap to senior leadership on a frequent basis. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Hold partner teams accountable for delivery of project roadmap. Own a part of the vision of the next generation DS roadmap, including execution. Meet defined milestones and delivery dates.
- Lead deep dives and conduct robust data analyses to facilitate continuous process improvement
- Drive a culture of innovation across the AMZL Strategic Planning and Process Engineering Org.
- Up to 30% travel base on business needs
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Demonstrated data analysis skills
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and integration
- Knowledge of SQL
- Building and Equipment design fundamentals
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in engineering
- Experience with data analysis, process improvement and integration
- Knowledge of SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $95,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
