In Microsoft Security, we are looking for a candidate to join us as a Senior Product Manager who is experienced in vulnerability management, data spelunking, a nd partnering across organizations to create technical solutions . We want to identify improvement opportunities that will make us more efficient so we have time to focus on the harder problems .
You will driv e clarity when surrounded by ambiguity , crea te order from chaos and increase the security bar of the cloud.
A keen eye for detail and the need for accuracy and actionability in reporting data is desired along with a basic understanding of query language . Ideally, y ou will have a proven curiosity and ability to test assumptions coupled with demonstrated problem – solving skills .

Qualifications:
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.

- Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This role will require access to information that is controlled for export under U.S. export control regulations, potentially under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations or the Export Administration Regulations. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to provide proof of citizenship, U.S. permanent residency or other protected status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) for assessment of eligibility to access the export-controlled information. - The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate U.S. Government clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred/Additional Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of complex, large scale online services (preferably Azure based)
- Prior cloud, security, authentication, and directory experience highly desirable
- Established technical aptitude, creativity, communication, and collaboration skills
- Growth mindset with a desire to continually learn and apply new skills
Product Management IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 – $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 – $238,600 per year.
