About the Opportunity:
We are looking for an extremely entrepreneurial Product Manager, who values moving quickly. You should combine technical proficiency, commercial acumen and excellent collaboration skills. You should be able to design and execute on the requirements to build innovative products that scale the business and minimize risks simultaneously. We are a cross-functional team of specialists in product, engineering and data working closely together.
About the Team:
The Finance Technology teams are responsible for all end-to-end fintech products at StubHub. The international, multicurrency, flexible nature of our platform poses innovation challenges unique to our business and significantly raises the bar for fintech solutions – which is why we choose to fully build them in-house. We expect our financial systems to have the level of robustness and scalability that ensures IPO readiness and supports continuous growth.
We would like to see someone who has:
- 5+ years of product management or close equivalent, with experience in finance space highly valued
- Track record of using analytics to support decision-making
- Demonstrated ability of strong leadership, organizational and execution skills in a fast-paced environment
As a Senior Product Manager at StubHub, you’ll be able to:
- Define the product roadmap and prioritization for Finance Technology in the context of our broader organizational strategies and goals
- Drive the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products, features, and/or tools, with accountability for all stages of the product development lifecycle
- Rapidly learn about the intricacies of cross-border, multi-currency, flexible e-commerce marketplace to understand the accounting, compliance & tax impact of every decision made by the business
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers and analysts to deliver against an ambitious roadmap that balances short-term optimization with long-term strategic investments
- Develop and monitors success metrics for Finance Technology and instill the insight-led & analytical approach in teams within their domain
- Formulate clear, data-driven business cases, write feature specifications, manage project execution and sequencing – be able to communicate clearly and defend reasoning to stakeholders
- Build the right products and solutions to enable fast, risk-free growth while remaining compliant and minimizing impact on the bottom line
- Understand and fosters culture of balance between reducing risk and moving fast
- Define and analyze metrics to inform the success of a product and develop action plans accordingly
- Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving, fast-paced environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
- Adopt experimental methodology, mindset and rigor to achieve objectives

The anticipated gross base annual salary range for this role is $160,000 – $210,000 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
