Amazon Flex
We are building a world-class last mile delivery with Amazon Flex as a cornerstone of this strategy. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors, to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, delivery partners are their own boss, build their own schedule, and choose from different types of delivery opportunities (e.g. Sub Same Day, Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods Market, and Amazon Logistics). Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile app that works in sync with our advanced systems and processes, allowing delivery partners to secure delivery offers, track their delivery progress, and more.
Key job responsibilities
As Sr. Product Manager in the team, you will strategize and execute on the vision to build an engaging experience where delivery partners can find and get the work that fits in their lifestyles and earning goals. Although the independent contractor economy has inherent uncertainty, you will be challenged to innovate to improve drivers’ scheduling and earning experience with Flex. You will create the product strategy and roadmap to improve driver engagement, striking the balance between multiple conflicting business constraints.
This role is inherently cross-functional. As the product leader, you will work closely with engineering, scientists, designers and UX researchers, marketing, business operations, finance, legal, and PR. Your products have global impact, so you need to design features that can scale worldwide, and customizing features to accommodate local markets. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, driver-obsessed, and team oriented. The leader will have a proven record in taking on end-to-end ownership, diving deep, and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. Experience in user engagement and app development will fuel your impact. Come join the team and help us make history!
