Senior Product Manager – Imagery Management

Your work will involve interacting with customers, being a product expert, building team relationships, and influencing the product’s development priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and share customer requirements and priorities with the development team to collaborate and prioritize the product’s roadmap and release timelines
  • Communicate the product roadmap and release timelines to internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead and support customer product briefings and collect requirements
  • Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Be a subject matter expert in all aspects related to imagery management, including cloud-based infrastructures
  • Work closely with development/engineering professionals to meet market requirements
  • Represent Esri imagery management and remote sensing capabilities as the product expert at conferences and social media platforms
  • Collaborate with Global Business Development, the partner team, international distributors, and product marketing to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
  • Work with Product Marketing to develop messaging to create demand for ArcGIS products in the imagery and remote sensing spaces
  • Ensure internal launch readiness for product updates with sales, technical support, customer service, and training
  • Create a feedback loop with Global Business Development, the partner team, international distributors, and product marketing to ensure the current Imagery product offerings effectively meet customer needs
  • Contribute to all customer-facing resources associated with the Imagery products, including website content, marketing slick sheets, slide presentations, and more, as necessary
  • Track and interpret key business KPI metrics to measure the health of Imagery product offerings and associated services

Requirements

  • 5+ years of engineering experience working on commercial software development and release; examples include product management, development, testing, software release, user assistance, configuration, or product marketing
  • 5+ years of practical experience in imagery and remote sensing
  • Demonstrate understanding of current methods and emerging technologies in the Imagery Analysis field
  • Demonstrate design experience with one or more image processing algorithms, process flows, testing, and user interfaces
  • Proven experience supporting technology innovation through aligning software capabilities with market opportunities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Requirement for travel 10-20% of the time for strategic meetings, events, and/or tradeshows
  • Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, engineering, remote sensing, photogrammetry, or related field

Recommended Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in computer science, GIS, or related field
  • Familiarity with current ArcGIS Imagery capabilities
  • Demonstratable projects implementing remote sensing in a commercial or government setting

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $104,000.00 – $166,400.00.
