Senior Product Manager, Microsoft Security Response Center

As a Senior Product Manager on the Microsoft Security Response Center team (MSRC), you will lead the design and implementation of the access strategy across all Microsoft infrastructures, both on-prem and in the cloud. Qualifications:
Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product, service, project, program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years of experience in security program management, with a focus on access management.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies, such as Active Directory (AD), Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, Azure AD Identity Protection, Azure AD Privileged Identity Management, and Microsoft Identity Manager.
  • Knowledge of access management concepts, principles, and technologies, such as identity and access management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), privileged access management (PAM), multifactor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and password management.
  • Communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive results across multiple teams and levels.
  • Ability to manage complex and cross-functional projects, with attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to influence and drive strategy at organization level scope.
  • Ability to set vision, deliver and communicate solutions to complex technical problem.
  • Experience working across organizations/divisions, and bringing people together to achieve the goal.
  • Experience in the Identity management and access control space is a huge plus.

Product Management IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 – $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 – $238,600 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the vision, roadmap, and metrics for access management across Microsoft.
  • Collaborate with security leaders, architects, engineers, and business partners to identify and prioritize access management requirements and initiatives.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of access management projects, from planning and design to implementation and validation.
  • Provide guidance and support to the access management team and stakeholders on security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on the performance, quality, and compliance of access management solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues related to access management.
