Job Description

Your Career

As a Product Manager at Palo Alto Networks for Prisma Access, you will be responsible for developing and driving our GlobalProtect product execution strategy for Prisma Access & NGFW, and driving all aspects of Prisma Access engagements to deliver unprecedented value for our customers.

You will be a trusted partner and will help build a strong relationship through deep interaction with our customers and partners to understand their requirements and needs. You will be responsible for different stages of the product life cycle (conception, definition, development, release, and post-release activities) managing strategic planning, owning both inbound and outbound communication and tactical activities.

Other responsibilities include collaborating with Product Marketing to create product related sales and marketing materials and evangelizing the products and product strategy both internally and externally.

Your Impact

  • Own the product decision-making for GlobalProtect features offered in Prisma Access & NGFW
  • Translate customer needs and use cases into product strategy and technology requirements
  • Coordinate and drive roadmap prioritization and tradeoffs
  • Develop, lead, and communicate product roadmap to customers, prospects and all internal key team members
  • Interface with Product and Engineering teams across the globe and 3rd-party technical partners to design and build capabilities to deliver at cloud-scale
  • Guide engineering teams and deliver high-quality products
  • Work with the product marketing team to develop compelling sales tools and marketing content to support sales and field marketing teams
  • Work with professional services, support, and education team, to ensure your products get coverage by these cross-functional teams
  • Drive go-to-market decisions

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Experience in any of these areas – endpoint, network security, performance & cloud security
  • Proven ability to identify, design, and implement technologies to solve access & security challenges
  • Background in any of these areas – Secure Remote Access, Endpoint Management, Mobile Apps & Identity & Access Management
  • Must have technical understanding of TCP/IP, TLS/SSL, IPSec, SAML, RADIUS, MDM, APIs
  • Must have hands on experience configuring and/ or troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, routing, authentication & network performance
  • Actively participating in the creation of user flows, wireframes and prototypes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Minimum 5 years in endpoint or network security product management or TME or systems engineering
  • Strong teammate able to lead and give support to cross-functional teams
  • Strong desire to win, a go-getter
  • Experience in dynamic environments with overlapping projects/deliverables

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $163,200/yr to $264,000/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
