The AWS Marketing team is seeking a Product Manager to manage a recently launched Email Campaign Manager used by internal marketers to create and manage outbound email campaigns to AWS customers. This product facilitates first and third-party tool integrations, workflow simplification/automations, and quality control processes. This role will also define and manage capabilities that facilitate the delivery of personalized, relevant email programs that will help improve overall email channel marketing performance, and deliver better email marketing experiences for current and prospective AWS customers. In this role, you will work closely with a UX designer and engineering teams to deliver capabilities for stakeholders, distilling their requirements into feature requests and driving a vision and roadmap for this flagship Email Marketing Team product, as well as partner with program managers to support projects with UI features.

In this technical role, you will dive deep to define core products for our email tooling suite.
* You will coordinate complex product initiatives across internal teams and stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features, and spearhead the definition of new capabilities through product and business requirements documents
* You want to create value and impact the marketing tech stack for AWS and AWS customers and prospects’ experience
* You will have responsibility through the full product life cycle, from product strategy, prioritization and development to adoption and iteration with customers
A day in the life
In this role, you will work in a cross-functional team, partnering with other product managers, business intelligence analysts, UX designers and engineers to drive better experiences and new capabilities for customers and marketers. You will be responsible for developing ideas from concept to completion, presenting them to peers, leadership and stakeholders for feedback, and working directly with developers to bring them to life. You will participate in agile development ceremonies and newsletter performance review meetings, driving improvement from a product management perspective.

The AWS Email Marketing Team is building its own world-class user personalization and campaign management platform that will drive the customer experience and the overall impact of communications delivered through the AWS email channel. The team provides AWS global marketing stakeholders with tools, governance, and the operations support to effectively deliver programs that drive AWS growth and adoption. This means you will have a direct impact on the success of AWS in attracting, nurturing, and delighting our customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
– Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
– Experience managing technical products or online services
– Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market.
