SPECIAL NOTES:

Preferences:
- Experience using the Comprehensive Case Information System (CCIS) or Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER)
- Professional experience dealing with Writ of Garnishments or IRS Levy’s or other types of wage garnishments
- Professional experience FLAIR
- Professional experience with payroll in an office setting
This position is responsible for a high volume of work with differing deadlines and is responsible for managing time to complete all tasks timely.
This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

Minimum Qualifications for this position include the following REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge of the methods of data collection.
- Ability to prepare financial statements and reports.
- Ability to prepare and maintain a variety of accounting records.
- Ability to analyze and interpret accounting data.
- Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to an accounting program.
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Analyzing and interpreting complex child support orders.
- Audit orders and accounts to process Writ of Garnishments and Bankruptcy Orders.
- Process IRS Levy Notices
- Review orders and payments processed by coworkers.
- Responsible for processing payments to recipients and employee refunds.
- Responsible for Reconciling the Collections Payroll for each involuntary deduction type.
