The Amazon Fresh Grocery Team is looking for a Sr. Program Manager in the Special Projects & Planning Team to manage strategic, cross-functional projects within Amazon’s Grocery business. In this role, they will work across Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, and Finance Teams to lead new, high impact projects, as well as drive improvements to existing processes in a complex space. The role requires innovative thinking, deep dive abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills. This is a highly visible role with direct, ongoing impact to our customers’ experience. We are looking for an exceptional candidate with a proven track record in delivering results in an ambiguous, high-paced environment.
Key job responsibilities
– Drive strategic initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders, including Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, and Finance teams
– Analyze and synthesize data to identify business opportunities for improving customer experiences and P&L
– Define metrics and program management mechanisms to track success of the program
– Invent & Simplify processes to drive decision making in highly ambiguous situations
– Lead reviews with leadership to communicate progress of the program

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of program or project management experience
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
– Ability to work successfully in a dynamic, cross-functional, and ambiguous environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
– SQL proficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
