Our Global Portfolio Management team is looking to hire a Senior Program Manager. Are you interested in being part of a global portfolio team supporting a Data Center Portfolio in one of the world’s largest technology companies in the World? Our work underpins Microsoft Cloud Operations & Innovation team growth and expansion into new markets and diverse customer requirements.

Optimize lease portfolio performance through collaboration with stakeholders across the company in development of business strategy, translate business strategy into an ecosystem strategy, and identify and architect partnership and contracts that can drive significant new business for Microsoft. This role will provide program management, data management & analytics, and process execution, while working closely with key stakeholders to support Global Portfolio Management. This role will focus on day-to-day processes for all operations related to portfolio management, supporting relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support our delivery model and ensure compliance of our legal obligations across all of our global data centers.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, data science, process improvement
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, process engineering and creation of executive presentations.
  • 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations or Lease Administration.
  • 2+ years of experience with data-driven storytelling.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining all deadlines and critical date obligations
  • Experience with data center related program management
  • Experience with ERP databases and reporting
  • Experience and competence in data manipulation and analytics using Excel and PowerBI
  • Portfolio Management
    • Contract management or lease services support background
    • Organization and the ability to anticipate the next steps for providing support
    • Experience with executive and external facing communications
    • Proficient with master data and inventory management tools (SAP, TRIRIGA, or Dynamics experience preferred)

Business Program Management IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 – $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 – $195,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements procedures and systems that continually improve and streamline the operation and management of Global Portfolio Management and Land & Lease Development.
  • Enables innovative solutions using data, process and tools that deliver Portfolio Management priorities.
  • Creates internal analytics and presentations that support business operations & performance reviews.
  • Review of lease related documentation and processing of critical information as required for our portfolio management systems.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive clarity, alignment and progress on key initiatives.
  • Provide programmatic management and input for all compliance and risk matters with our strategic partnerships and our entire contract base.
  • Possess an excellent ability to develop business requirements, iterate using agile methodology and partner with business intelligence and engineering to develop tools and systems.
  • Supports administration of legal documentation as required by the Global Portfolio Management team.
  • Assists in the supervision of work and performance of vendor staff responsible for providing lease administration services for CO+I.
  • Conducts periodic meetings with internal and external stakeholders to review satisfaction with current programs.
  • Project manages initiatives while ensuring stakeholder alignment and desired outcomes are achieved.
  • Operate as a Subject Matter Expert on tools and processes to drive consistency and standardization to our operations.
  • Establish a results-oriented, data-driven programmatic approach to strategic asset management to develop improvements and efficiencies for our business.
  • Planning and Strategy: This person will play a vital role in strategic evaluation and business planning, coordination of financial, technical, tax and legal due diligence, and post-close integration planning.
  • Governance: Monitor operational performance and track efficacy relative to expectations post-close. Maintain ongoing relationships with partners to ensure compliance and commitments are fulfilled.
