Senior Program Manager, Prime Video Channels

Prime Video is seeking an experienced Sr. Program Manager to lead complex business-critical initiatives for Prime Video Channels, the service that lets Prime members add subscriptions like Max, Paramount+, MGM+, STARZ, and more, all with no cable subscription necessary. We are searching for a Sr. Program Manager to lead projects including channel launches, customer migrations, and other high-impact priorities for the Prime Video Channels business. This person will be the hub of the wheel, influencing and collaborating with tech and non-tech teams around Prime Video & Amazon to ensure success on the projects they lead. They will develop and own requirements, workback timelines, critical program reviews, and documentation of these complex initiatives. This role has high leadership visibility and exposure to external stakeholders, so strong executive presence is required.

An ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication skills and know how to navigate ambiguity, escalate tradeoff decisions to leadership, and stay committed to ambitious project deadlines. Experience delivering largescale projects across several stakeholder teams is a key requirement. Strong understanding of technical workflow and navigating around technical blockers is highly preferred. Key job responsibilities
• Serve as the end-to-end owner of channel launches, including influencing several stakeholder teams, interfacing with external partners, and reporting updates to senior leadership.
• Drive operational improvement initiatives, programmatic solutions to ongoing issues, and deep-dive problem areas
• Own go-to-market strategy and leadership reviews for high-impact initiatives
• Embrace a positive, can-do attitude and willingness and flexibility to solve problems quickly, using any tools necessary

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of program or project management experience

– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience in media/entertainment/streaming industry highly preferred

– Knowledge of database query technologies (SQL)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
