Amazon Air is looking for Senior Program Managers with a strong delivery record and proven program management experience to own operational, tactical, and cross-functional projects and programs within Amazon Air Cargo. These roles require the ability to create, implement and improve processes, coordinating for, and driving execution of approved programs, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.
Key job responsibilities
– Work with multiple stakeholders in the AIR organization to identify, create, develop and integrate innovative solutions and programs for a growing cargo business partnering alongside the AFN network.
– Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
– Understand thoroughly the end-to-end operation process to evaluate the impact of system configuration changes on service quality, process efficiency, and speed to the customer.
– Track actual performance of changed process and system to ensure meeting the set business goals, and take immediate action for correction and prevention of process failures.
– Create and execute project roadmaps to improve process visibility and build mechanisms to enforce process accountability with cross functional stakeholders.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology solutions that enhance process efficiency.
– Serve as a change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization, and solid program and process management skills.
– Maintain detailed documentation of processes, improvements, and performance metrics.
– Train teams on new processes and ensure effective communication of changes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of program or project management experience
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
– Bachelor’s degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 7+ years of driving process improvements experience
– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
– Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
