This is a responsible and independent position that will be responsible for serving as the Standards Compliance Officer who will work in close contact with vendor and policy staff to implement system changes and address issues specific to compliance with transaction related standards.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as the Medicaid Managed Care, Eligibility, and Enrollment Team Lead
- Oversee the premium collections/enrollment broker vendor for eligibility and enrollment system changes.
- Supervise a Program Specialist and a Benefit Program Senior Specialist that work primarily with Managed Care, eligibility, and enrollment.
- Track vendor tasks, research and resolve issues, and managed system change requests.
- Schedule and lead various meetings to communicate with vendor and related entities regarding issues, questions, and coordination of system change efforts.
- Coordinate testing and manage monthly system releases.
- Review and obtain approval of vendor deliverables.
- Serve as a System Task Request (STR) and Project Coordinator:
- Facilitate STR and project requirement gathering, design, testing, and implementation;
- Facilitate work group meetings, record meeting minutes, monitor and complete (as assigned) action items, report project status, key risks, and issues to leadership and facilitates decision making and resolution of issue.
- Work independently meeting with management to discuss direction of projects; and/or receives general administrative direction.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)

Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of project management principles and best practices is desirable.
- Working knowledge of principles and approaches to managing system development and implementation projects. Working knowledge of the agency’s functions and their interrelationships.
- Expert ability to coordinate projects involving multiple organizations and/or groups.
- Expert written and oral communication skills.
- Expert ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders from all levels within multiple public and private organizations.
- Ability to effectively identify, document, communicate, monitor, and resolve project risks and issues.
- Training, certification, and/or education in leadership and continuous process improvement programs (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) is preferred.
