Candidate Specification
We invite applications from candidates with the following experience:
- Project management experience of multiple projects varying in scope and scale, between $500K and $25M
- Design of industrial, water/wastewater buildings and hazardous materials code analysis;
- Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) Degree
- 15-20 years’ experience
- Professional registration required (US)
- Fluent in MS Office and AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of Revit, BIM, and other standard office software
- Ability to develop complete contract documents including drawings and specifications
Salary Range: $120,000 – $135,00

Job Description
Mott MacDonald’s architectural team are looking to expand. We’re looking for a project manager to join the team, to support some major project wins. Responsibilities of the position will include:
- Manages project budgets and schedules.
- Develops a comprehensive understanding of clients’ program requirements and standards and policies for completion.
- Coordination with design team, including Process, Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineers.
- Manage complete design of building projects.
- Research related to building materials and systems including cataloging equipment and furnishings.
- Development of architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc. to delegate to and supervise junior architects utilizing AutoCAD and Revit Building Information Modeling (BIM).
- Develops integrated sustainable solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
- With little direction from more senior design professionals, develop, modify, and/or review documents to ensure design intent.
- Works closely with design team and assists to complete projects on aggressive schedules.
- Assist in developing project scope, and translating planning concepts into comprehensible terms for clients, designers and project team members.
- Manages and supervises the preparation of 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings, through red-line mark ups, with an understanding of CADD.
- Prepares construction cost estimates and CSI format specifications.
- Prepares building code analyses.
- Reviews submittals and shop drawings in construction administration phase.
