Senior Project Director – Policyowner Services – Omaha, NE

Mutual of Omaha is seeking a part time Senior Project Director to join our Policyowner Services team. This position is 30 hours per week. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary: Minimum: $120,000 MidPoint: $162,000 Maximum: $204,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 9 paid holidays in 2023.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 56 hours of personal time in 2023, prorated based on the start date.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • You’ll develop and execute strategic projects aligned with enterprise objectives, ensuring excellence in solutions, schedule, cost, quality, and benefit realization.
  • You’ll oversee large project strategy, encompassing scope definition, contract negotiations, risk identification, critical success factors, and resource management.
  • Consult with senior management, analyzing strategic objectives and recommending solutions to enhance competitiveness.
  • You’ll maintain expertise in various customer business environments, supporting process change within business areas.
  • Champion operational excellence, transformational strategies, and continuous process improvement. You’ll partner with leadership and serve as an internal expert in business transformation activities.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 5+ years of successful experience managing business transformation projects with implementation costs exceeding $5 million.
  • 10+ years of combined project management and project director experience in roles of increasing scale, scope, complexity, and risk, with expertise in various project management methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of Policyowner Services
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management, stakeholders, and cross-functional project teams.
  • Proficient in identifying and managing cross-portfolio dependencies, leveraging extensive experience and judgment to achieve project goals.
  • Strong critical thinking and influencing skills, with a deep understanding of data analysis and design, as well as the ability to convey enterprise-level objectives and program impact to stakeholders.
