Required Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelors degree in a related field
- 10+ years of experience within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on work experience using current or progressive technology and systems
- Experience using electronic data management systems for collecting, controlling, normalizing, reporting, and delivering project data
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex workflows and procedures to project teams
- Knowledge of ISO19650 is preferable
- Good interpersonal skills and confident communication
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Self-motivation, ability to use own initiative to organise and prioritise tasks
- Strong understanding of BS/PAS 1192 suite and knowledge of ISO19650 standards
- Highly desirable experience includes:
- Developing analytical dashboards using such tools as Microsoft PowerBi, Academic and/or industry qualifications related to Information Management or BIM Accreditation
- Data management application experience:
- Microsoft: SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Bi, OneDrive
- Autodesk: BIM360 Team and BIM360
- Bentley: ProjectWise and Deliverables Management
- Engineering application experience:
- Autodesk: AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit, Navisworks, Infraworks and Dynamo
- Bentley: MicroStation, Openroads and ConceptStation
Salary Range for NYC: $79,000 – $107,000

Mott MacDonald is looking for professionals to join our ever-expanding Project, Program, Commercial and Construction Management (PPCM) practice. Mott MacDonald is a multi-disciplined engineering and advisory consultancy, with a significant presence in the West Coast transportation and infrastructure and water/wastewater realm. We are looking to bring on a Project Information Specialist for our ever-expanding PPCM practice. Specific functions include:
- Supporting the PPCM practice with the development of best practice documentation for project documentation management in the North American business
- Reporting to the PPCM lead for North America, supporting project managers, collaboration with practice leads in the North American business
- Providing document management expertise on large projects including but not limited to development of document management requirements for project proposals, project plan of works, project plans, and project technology plans
- Collaboration with project managers, team leads, and project management teams to ensure that the client, project, and team document requirements have been included
- Development and management of document management standards, templates, and workflows for project teams including but not limited to user access, permissions, file creation, file deletion, file updates, versioning, check and approval processes, metadata, archiving, emails, deliverables, RFIs, and user support
- Onboarding and training of project teams to effectively manage project documents in accordance with document management workflows
- Managing incoming and outgoing project information including deliverables registers
- Administrating internal and external user access and associated permissions
- Use of digital tools like PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI to improve document management and reporting
- Performing document audits on project data, and working with internal and external audit teams to ensure project data is accessible for audits
- Development of key performance indicators in close collaboration with project teams to track documentation management processes and assist in quality assurance
- Annual reviews and revisions where necessary to document management workflows including a lesson learned and knowledge sharing with the team. Oversees management of resourcing and equipment needs on program such as daily and weekly short-range planning, manpower, productivity, resourcing, safety training, construction operations training, equipment maintenance, and equipment and tool supply and control planning
