Senior Project Manager – CM Oversight

Our Program Management team is looking to hire an experienced and collaborative Senior Project Manager – CM Oversight for multiple projects running concurrently for our client (NYCHA). Based in Long Island city, NY, reporting to the Program Director, this position provides comprehensive program and project management oversight of a portfolio capital projects from project programing through the design, procurement, construction, and close-out phases including administrative functions and day-to-day operations of professional services and contractor services teams.

In this role you’ll coordinate activities between the persons, agencies, and departments responsible for project completion. You’ll maintain a management information system to provide data for the planning and control of project risks and development, track and perform data analysis on multiple dashboards and projects, reporting status updates internally. Ensuring assigned projects are executed and completed on time and within budget in accordance with contract requirements, established policies, procedures, regulations.

As a senior leader, resources to assist with invoice management, quality/safety oversight, procurement, scheduling, and reporting/analytics helping to ensure the projects under your management are functioning according to budget, schedule, and conformance with contract requirements will be provided. You’ll also coordinate with the Client’s team for stakeholder engagement, estimating, sustainability, real estate, finance, contracts, and procurement.

This position requires excellent judgement and problem-solving skills to handle varying initiatives, effective communication skills to engage all stakeholders, and a results-based problem solving approach to lead diverse management teams.   • Bachelor degree in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in the real estate, engineering, and / or construction industry with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an owner’s representative overseeing the full project lifecycle
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a design and construction program or project manager
  • Experience with NYC DOB, DEC, and other City, State and Federal Building codes
  • 10-hour OSHA certification in the last five years or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Experience with eBuilder project management system

Typical salary range for this position is $140,000 – $176,500 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
