senior project manager, Enterprise Communications

senior project manager, Enterprise Communications

From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.

As a senior project manager on the Enterprise Partner (Employee) Communications team within Public Affairs you will be responsible for delivering a cross-functional plan to help operationalize our strategic initiatives to amplify and elevate our Partner Experience narrative internally.

To be successful, a strong candidate has experience working with multiple teams to define and mitigate risks, execute a project plan, and communicate with clarity across various stakeholders. Strong project management skills are required, and an open and curious mind is encouraged.

As a project manager, you will…
Support our strategic priorities for partner communications. You will help orchestrate highly cross functional initiatives like transforming our enterprise rhythm of business, driving a year-long campaign to embed our company’s new mission, helping us stand up a new function dedicated to amplifying our partner brand initiatives, creating a new structure for editorial planning across our digital partner channels, and more. You’ll support our partners by leading the planning, implementation, and embedding of these complex projects. You will help anticipate needs and opportunities and recommend strategies and solutions to drive success for the full team. You’ll keep up to date on the partner experience and sentiment, in our stores, offices and plants, and help build rigor into our day-to-day work.
Foster cross functional partnership. You will represent PA and build relationships across the team, our consultants/agencies, and the broader enterprise to collaborate and drive the outcomes of complex programs, delivering integrated project approaches. You will have curiosity for what others do and how they work. You will be comfortable influencing without authority to ensure our projects meet specified timelines and deliver expected results.
Enjoy working on an energetic, fun team! You will welcome the chance to contribute to a highly collaborative team culture where we offer ideas, share new perspectives, ask for feedback, raise concerns constructively, encourage a solutions mindset, lift one another up and celebrate our wins, while role modeling what it means to live Starbucks mission, values and guiding principles.
