Senior Project Manager/Environmental Engineer-Geologist

A leading environmental consulting and engineering firm is currently seeking a highly qualified Senior Environmental Project Manager for our Dallas, TX office. With over 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing a variety of projects, applying your expertise in environmental assessment and remediation.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project teams in executing environmental assessment and remediation projects.
- Establish project-specific objectives and provide overall project management support.
- Prepare project proposals, work plans, and technical reports.
- Interact with clients and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and project coordination.
- Oversee site investigation activities, including sampling of soil, groundwater, indoor air (VI), soil gas, and stormwater.
- Develop technical recommendations for site assessment and remediation activities.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering, or Geology (preferred).
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental consulting.
- Strong working knowledge of the Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP).
- HAZWOPER training and certification.
- Familiarity with environmental laws and policies.
- Experience in staff management and supervision, with a passion for mentoring and coaching.
- Proven track record in project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective task and leadership management skills.
- Willingness to travel regionally (approximately 10% of the time) with occasional overnights.
- Ability to maintain a background clearance.
