Senior Project Manager/Environmental Engineer-Geologist

A leading environmental consulting and engineering firm is currently seeking a highly qualified Senior Environmental Project Manager for our Dallas, TX office. With over 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing a variety of projects, applying your expertise in environmental assessment and remediation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage project teams in executing environmental assessment and remediation projects.
  • Establish project-specific objectives and provide overall project management support.
  • Prepare project proposals, work plans, and technical reports.
  • Interact with clients and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and project coordination.
  • Oversee site investigation activities, including sampling of soil, groundwater, indoor air (VI), soil gas, and stormwater.
  • Develop technical recommendations for site assessment and remediation activities.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering, or Geology (preferred).
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental consulting.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP).
  • HAZWOPER training and certification.
  • Familiarity with environmental laws and policies.
  • Experience in staff management and supervision, with a passion for mentoring and coaching.
  • Proven track record in project management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective task and leadership management skills.
  • Willingness to travel regionally (approximately 10% of the time) with occasional overnights.
  • Ability to maintain a background clearance.
