Job Description
Seeking a hands-on Senior Project Manager with deep expertise managing complex technology programs and projects. This role leverages PMP standard project management methodologies and best practices and Scrum Master skills to adeptly manage complex projects and programs in both waterfall and agile approaches.
- Lead as a hands-on Project Manager to oversee all facets of projects, including resource management, financial aspects, and reporting, leveraging Microsoft Project
- Demonstrate practical experience in planning, creating, and managing Agile Sprints, schedules, backlogs, and bi-weekly status reports
- Construct and maintain integrated project schedules that account for dependencies, varying delivery approaches, and contingencies for unforeseen delays
- Contribute to the development of high-quality and user-friendly reporting materials, including dashboards, newsletters, presentation templates, and engaging visual representations of data
- Serve as a servant leader, fostering an environment that empowers the team to achieve project goals
- Manage efficiently resources in a cross-functional environment, proactively coordinating resource (on-shore & off-shore) allocation and testing with project team members and stakeholders
- Work towards creating a cohesive and productive team, serving as an agent of positive transformation
- Ensure the team’s effective operation, supporting both on-shore and off-shore members to be self-organizing and productive
- Provide essential business context to engineers and proficiently represent your team’s systems to internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and remove impediments to ensure timely milestone completion while managing expectations
- Anticipate and actively manage upcoming/priority project and other resource/logistic risks
- Develop comprehensive work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
- Establish yourself as the Scrum process authority, upholding values, principles, and practices
- Concentrate on optimizing work methods, tools, and team performance
**Position can be remote, but candidates should be located near a major metropolitan airport. Travel will be 20-50% to Trinidad and Tobago with initial orientation travel to India for 2 weeks**
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on technical project and/or program management expertise, acting as a Scrum Master and Project Manager leveraging both Microsoft Project management and Agile sprint schedule
- Mandatory Certified Scrum Master certification (CSM) or equivalent scrum master certification
- Leveraging various enterprise tools
- Experience managing enterprise application development projects, including Oracle Financials and Microsoft Technologies (e.g., .NET, SharePoint, BI, D365 Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Experience with JIRA and Azure dashboard to track sprint progress
- Proven track record of exceptional Project Management skills, consistently delivering projects within schedule and budget.
- Strong business acumen and effective communication skills
- Excellent understanding of project planning, project margins, resource planning, project execution process, UAT, etc.
Preferred
- Previous experience leading and managing (on-shore and off-shore) teams of 15 or more
Additional Information
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000 – $170,000.
