As a senior project manager on the Channel Operations Program Management Team, you will be supporting the development and delivery of key projects that make it possible for our partners to deliver the most consistent customer experience across Drive Thru, Mobile Order Pay, Café, and Delivery channels. This role works directly with the teams across Store Operations, Finance, Store Technology and Store Development. As a senior project manager, you will . . .
• Prioritizing & Planning. Act as a strategic thought partner on how to organize and structure the work. Help represent the program with cross functional teams and stakeholders. Lead the overall program timelines and identify resources required.
• Collaboration & Communication. Collaboratively drive decisions across the organization with stakeholders that favors alignment over consensus-building. Effectively communicate dependencies, risks and a clear path to deliver work.
• Business Acumen & Problem Solving. Contributes to project success by pulling together and leveraging talent and resources in an effective and efficient manner.
We’d love to hear from people with:
• Lead project teams and cross functional teams to develop and implement new programs and process improvements.
• Manage projects in accordance with Starbucks established program management methodologies.
• Ensure that multiple projects meet specified timelines and deliver expected results.
• Manage and monitor project or program schedules, progress and costs to ensure that expected results are delivered on time and within budget.
• Maintain, adjust and update project plans as needed.
• Consolidate, communicate and ensure resolution of all issues.
• Support development and collection of performance metrics.
• Represents the Channel business, department or functional area on cross-functional project teams.
• Provides Channel expertise to assess potential financial and operational impact.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Project.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

• Ability to use Change management skills to inform implementation.
• 4+ years project management experience, including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, human resources, and communications.
• 3+ yrs. managing large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects.
• 2+ yrs. mentoring teams.
• 2+ yrs. general business experience in large, matrixed organizations.
• 4-year degree preferred.
• Retail store experience considered.
• PMP considered.
