Senior Recruiter – Healthcare

Pacific Retirement Services (PRS) is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Recruiter to lead a team of healthcare recruiting staff in efficiently filling open positions and effectively collaborating with HR, hiring managers and PRS stakeholders on talent acquisition initiatives and processes. In addition to recruiting for their own territory of healthcare positions, the Senior Recruiter will supervise two additional healthcare recruiters and a coordinator and will report directly to the Corporate Director of Talent Management.

S uccessful candidates will provide sound leadership and ensure effective talent acquisition practices for our communities. In addition to regular recruitment activities, here are a few ways that our Senior Recruiter provides support;

  • Lead assigned team to ensure PRS brand is consistently represented in the creation and management of all job postings, recruitment-related marketing materials, interview guides and recruitment social media with support from PRS Media.
  • Provide direct staff supervision recognizing performance, setting expectations, providing timely performance evaluations and feedback, coaching and staff development.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate company-wide, cost-effective targeted recruiting methods both internally and externally by maintaining recruitment records, running reports and analyzing trends.
  • Identify ways to optimize and enhance our recruiting process to best serve our hiring managers. Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and work to find creative solutions to solve their staffing challenges and provide feedback when necessary. Partner with hiring managers to understand industry needs. Facilitate regular meetings or conference calls with hiring managers and related stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in the interview/hiring process with individual hiring managers or communities as a whole and communicate solutions effectively. Drive an outstanding candidate experience within designated territory/scope by implementing talent management programs, tools, and resources.

Salary: $95,000 – $115,000 /yr DOE + commission

We want to set you up for success, so we make sure relationship building, training and development, and high-quality service are part of our everyday mentality. Here’s what you’ll need to be successful leader in this role;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years’ experience in human resources, corporate recruitment, or agency recruitment. Two (2) years’ experience in both active & passive recruitment, especially in healthcare, dining, hospitality etc.
  • Prior experience with advertising open positions, cold calling, candidate screening, interviewing, negotiating job offers, and proactive outreach recruiting.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a strong sense of professionalism and influence and knowledge of employment law.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or AIRS certifications are preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable by the designated carrier.
