Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer for a new role based out of the Chantilly, VA area. For this position we are looking for an engineer to support the operations, maintenance, and enhancement of Mission Critical applications in support of the Intelligence Community.
What you’ll be doing:
- Contributing to all phases of the development life cycle;
- Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, and improve its performance;
- Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting for review;
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing software;
- Writing and implementing well designed, testable, and efficient code based on Sponsor’s specifications and needs;
- Verifying and deploying programs and systems to implement fixes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience/Education: 12+ years of experience with a BS, or 10+ years of experience with an MS, or 8+ years of experience with PhD. May consider experience in lieu of a degree.
- Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph required.
- Experience using JAVA software development tools such as J2EE, JDBC, Web Services SOAP/REST, XML, and JSON, etc.
- Knowledge of a variety of software architectures and how to properly employ them when building applications.
- Experience in cloud-based application development.
- Experience performing work in an Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certifications
- Experience with DevOps; CI/CD
- Experience with Business Analytics
- Experience with Sponsor A&A Process

Target Salary Range
$146,000 – $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
