The Senior Solutions Engineer is responsible for delivery and support of IT solutions to MBRDNA. In addition, this position will be the primary IT contact for all services and solutions consumed at their respective site(s).
Job Responsibilities:
- Solution Design and Implementation:
- Systems Engineering and operational support – 3rd level expertise with a focus on Server, Network and Storage
- Analyzes and specifies technical requirements for on-prem and cloud based infrastructure
- Performs technical feasibility checks for new proposed solutions
- Designs and implements on-prem and cloud based infrastructure concepts and solutions
- Site Responsible:
- Onsite lead for all data center, infrastructure and network services topics, escalations
- Estimates and calculates service costs depending on service-components, forecast yearly budget for server, data center and network services.
- Maintains a full understanding of the service offerings consumed by their site(s)Accepts full ownership for IT Infrastructure and Operations for the site
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field
- 7-10 years of experience
- 5 years IT Project management and implementation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in security applications (firewalls / proxy) and networking (LAN and WLAN)
- Ability to learn new IT expert fields
- Project management skills (Agile, Waterfall)
- Basic knowledge in Audio Visual solutions
- Communication and coordination skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships within and outside the company
- Driver’s License
The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, job-related education, skills, and experience, geographic location, and market conditions. The current salary range for this position is as follows and may be modified in the future: $97,600 – $122,100.
