We’re seeking a future team member in the role of Senior Specialist, Business requirements definition and onboarding Software Configuration, Application Delivery, and Support to join our Margin Services Technology team within the Markets group team. This role is located in New York City and is a HYBRID working role where you will be required to be in the Greenwich Street office 3 days per week.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Work with Margin Services Product and operations team to define requirements and flows for new business initiatives.
  • Prepare documents, flowcharts, data definitions to support business initiatives
  • Work with QA, development team, and business to define test strategy and plans
  • Work with engineering teams to implement technology solutions
  • Work with Margin Services Product development and operations to onboard new clients
  • Coordinate client onboarding and configuration with Engineering team
  • Support end to end testing of flows and support client and user testing activities

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Extensive Experience in collateral management business essential
  • Proven ability to work with Product development, Operations and engineering teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a systems SCM environment, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus

Acts as SCM subject matter expert, responsible for the definition and implementation of the technical methodology of the SCM department.

Defines SCM plans and scripts/programs. Analyzes and documents systems requirements for the most complex environments. Recommends software design based on requirements.

Analyzes and monitors the effectiveness of the use of technology in SCM processes. Structures and monitors technical activities based upon approved project methodologies.

Collects and analyzes project data and produces progress reports. Makes recommendations to improve efficiencies and outcomes. Contributes to the achievement of area objectives.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $79,000 and per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
