We’re seeking a future team member in the role of Technology Product Manager – Knowledge Managementto join our Technology Product Management area. This role is located in Jersey City, NJ or Lake Mary FLA.

This will be a flex/remote position.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

You will have the responsibility of driving the delivery of strategic priorities and promoting the adoption of our solutions across the wide range of Pershing clients globally related to our digital adoption tools. Product Managers work closely with colleagues in a variety of roles such as Product Owners, Development Engineers, Business Owners, Project Managers, Marketing and Communications, among others. Product Managers serve as client advocates internally; they articulate the product positioning, benefits, and target audience, and promote their products both internally and externally, when appropriate.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • A strong understanding of Agile product development, adoption and learning strategies, and creating go-to-market campaigns.
  • Experience in the organization and distribution of complex sets of technical and business information and its practical application to the development of technology products
  • A self-motivated Subject Matter Expert with a very practical, tactical approach which enables you to earn the trust of and collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders
  • A collegial approach and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced team that is part of a much larger, matrixed organization.
  • The ability – in a sometimes ambiguous and always fast-moving environment – to multi-task so as to harmonize competing requirements and coordinate diverse resources and synthesize them to effectively develop and deliver a product
  • The drive to deliver game-changing technology solutions to our clients with efficiency and quality.

Qualifications & Requirements:

In this role you will:

Be responsible for —

  • Driving strategy and implementing new digital adoption tools and learning content, creating the product roadmap, developing use cases, managing the integration of the solution into multiple channels, leading internal and external communication plans, product marketing, messaging content, campaigns and adoption efforts, and supporting content authoring
  • Participating, prioritizing and contributing to SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) pods; writing JIRA epics/stories, and sharing the vision to prioritize and drive the creation and the delivery of digital adoption-related initiatives
  • Fostering the relevant vendor relationships
  • Developing and building relationships with internal SMEs, business and technology partners, and understanding clients’ needs
  • Leading and participating in key elements of product delivery, including budgeting and strategy decisions
  • Being a champion of digital adoption platforms and online learning experiences, promoting new features to internal and external clients, defining success metrics, and accelerating adoption while simultaneously enhancing our clients’ holistic experience at BNY Mellon’s Pershing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in technology and digital products
  • Broker-dealer, RIA, and/or financial services experience
  • Experience with digital adoption and learning solutions is preferred
  • Experience with content development and content management systems is preferred
  • Experience in a Knowledge Management, Training, or Technical Writing role is preferred
  • Experience in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) a plus
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent decision making, problem solving, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in business-to-business technology and third-party integrations is a plus
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a dynamically changing environment is preferred

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $89,500 and $175,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
