The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Senior Specialist, User Experience in New York, NY, to perform and provide technical expertise for the most complex user experience activities that include user research and testing, interactive design, and visual design. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Psychology, User Experience Design, Human Computer Interaction, Engineering (Any), or a related field, and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Designing the user interface and interaction design by applying usability techniques and methodologies including creating concepts, persona, information architecture, storyboards, low fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and visual specifications using Adobe creative cloud suite and Figma; Performing usability testing by creating test scenarios and prototypes and conducting tests with users to identify any issues with the design and collect user feedback; Analyzing and synthesizing data findings into key insights for senior business stakeholders and product team and recommending design iterations to Product and Development teams; Creating Low-fidelity wireframes and High-fidelity prototypes for users and get it reviewed with business and technology stakeholders for their feedback; Redesigning and iterating the design changes to the UI front-end development team and make the necessary changes based on the feedback; and Envisioning, creating, and managing the application’s brand identity and visual design style.
