We are seeking a Senior Strategic Project Manager who will support company-wide initiatives focused on product and program development. This individual would be working under the corporate Project Management Office on new product builds and integrations across all our groups and business units. In this exciting and challenging role, candidates will plan and execute product integration projects, new product development projects and process improvement projects. This Project Manager will need to possess the ability to interact, gain buy-in and form a matrix project team from across the organization to successfully complete projects.
This position can be worked out of any Jack Henry office location or remote within the US.
This position will have a salary range of $90,800-$156,700 based on experience and location.
What you’ll be responsible for:
• Manages the development and implementation of new or upgraded products and/or manages the creation and implementation of corporate processes.
• Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded products or corporate processes.
• Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.
• Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project is on schedule and within budget constraints.
• Provides mentoring and support to other project managers in dealing with project management issues for their assigned projects.
• Demonstrates excellent project management skills.
• Assists less experienced peers.
• May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
• Minimum of 6 years of program or project management of software development projects.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE).
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15% to attend JHA meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.
What would be nice for you to have:
• Bachelor’s degree in related software development field.
• PMI certifications such as:
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
• Program Management Professional (PgMP)
• PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
• PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)
• Other SAFe certifications such as:
• SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE)
• SAFe Agilist Certification
• SAFe Practitioner Certification (SPC)
• SAFe Scrum Master Certification.
• Has a wide range of experience and able to resolve complex issues. Works on complex and diverse projects. Analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Exercises good judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions.
• Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
• General knowledge of financial industry and or JHA product(s) supported and basic knowledge of other JHA products.
• Able to complete successful product design and implementation projects that are on schedule, within budget and receive high customer satisfaction results.
• Able to interact with senior internal and external personnel.
