JOB TITLE: Senior-Systems Administrator
JOB LOCATION: 1025 Lenox Park Blvd. NE, Atlanta, GA 30319 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]
DUTIES: Implement and support technology solutions that help facilitate sales and service transactions across more than 4,600 nationwide retail locations. Work with the latest in retail technologies designed to minimize downtime, simplify system interactions and deliver a best in class user experience. Design, configure, and deploy IT infrastructure in retail environments. Test and support software deployments including OS updates, security enhancements, and other system policies. Provide administrative support of enterprise applications used to manage and secure retail point of sale infrastructure. Advanced troubleshooting and analyses of workstation hardware, peripherals, and network stacks. Collaborate with third-party vendors as needed to support hardware and software technologies. Automate processes using Powershell and other scripting languages. Provide support to tier 1/tier 2 Help Desk personnel. Design, implement, and maintain hardware, software, and network components of a local area network. Support software for multiple operating environments: cloud, mobile, open systems. Configure, install, and support the functions, features and facilities of multi-user systems. Develop complex PowerShell scripts to automate and track processes. Use system administration tools: SCCM or Microsoft Azure Intune. Support anti-virus protection software. Microsoft: Azure Fundamentals certification required.
Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or System Administration and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation designing, implementing, and maintaining hardware, software, and network components of a local area network; supporting software for multiple operating environments: cloud, mobile, open systems; configuring, installing, and supporting the functions, features and facilities of multi-user systems; developing complex PowerShell scripts to automate and track processes; using system administration tools: SCCM or Microsoft Azure Intune; supporting anti-virus protection software; and collaborating with third-party vendors as needed to support hardware and software technologies. Microsoft: Azure Fundamentals certification required.
