Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Senior Targeting Analyst – Media Sales supports the Targeting & Attribution Managers (TAMs) in the day-to-day development and management of pre-campaign target recommendations, post-campaign attribution and measurement. Assists in executional strategy for measurement studies, to analyze the success of DISH Media’s targeted advertising business, across both DISH and Sling TV. Give guidance and recommendations to drive future campaigns. This role works directly with data partners and internal teams on a day-to-day basis to ensure optimal targeting, measurement and attribution to consistently improve and grow business outcomes. The Senior Analyst reports into a Targeting & Attribution Manager, but supports the overall team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists with projects and client relationships that are critical to our addressable advertising business
- Analysts work closely with TAMs to provide the essentials for campaign targeting, measurement and attribution
- Performs data exploration and provides direction for targeting segment development and campaign tagging
- Ensures data partner deliverables are on-time, within scope, and on budget
- Overseeing and managing file distribution
- Overseas data collection of attribution studies for Benchmark development.
- Supports TAMs and the General Manager in meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Experience: 3 years of related experience at an advertising agency, media/publisher, cable/satellite provider or ad tech company
Skills and Qualifications:
- Studied or worked in a data-driven role; strong data and analytics background, experience working with audience tools (Experian Audience Engine, LiveRamp Connect, Cadent Aperture, Yahoo DSP etc.) preferred
- High level of proficiency with Google Suite, MS Office (Excel pivot tables & PowerPoint)
- Able to multi-task and passionate about working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Possesses strong written and verbal communication, experience presenting to Executive Teams as well as Clients
Salary Range
Compensation: $65,800.00/Year – $94,000.00/Year
