A role you will love
As the Senior Technical Analyst, you’ll perform business analysis and administrative tasks to assist with the enhancement and maintenance of applications managed by our Enterprise Systems team. In this role, you’ll need to be pragmatic and logical, with a solution-oriented mindset. You’ll partner closely with the product manager and project team to define business requirements to meet the project objectives.
Communication and collaboration will be of the utmost importance as you partner with your key stakeholders (value stream leaders, business groups and control groups).
Other key responsibilities include:
- Assist in the preparation of clear requirements which will form a well-balanced Product Backlog
- Manage and prioritize the scrum’s backlog and work with the team to plan stories for upcoming sprints
- Determine acceptance criteria for final UAT code
- Ensure requirements are within our business standards and guidelines and align to our business strategy and objectives
- Effectively manage risks associated with projects and scrum team, including compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adherence to internal Wells Fargo policies, procedures, and controls
- Look at industry trends and customer feedback to brainstorm on features
- Obtain appropriate buy-in on difficult decisions and solve complex issues, especially when there isn’t agreement amongst stakeholders, knowing how to negotiate and when to escalate to your leaders
- Work with operations and technical teams to research and resolve production issues
- Clarify ambiguities and customer experience based on business requirements and product objectives
What will you bring to the role?
You are someone who takes a highly organized approach with a keen attention to detail. You can articulate complex concepts in a clear manner, and you pride yourself on your solid creative and strategic thinking skills. As flexibility and collaboration are important in this role, you work effectively in a team environment and across all organization levels.
You’ll also bring:
- 5+ years of IT industry experience
- 3+ years of Business Analyst experience
- Experience in document management solutions leveraging Kofax, Documentum, and/or FileNet P8
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
- Experience presenting and communicating effectively via remote virtual tools like Teams, WebEx
- Knowledge and understanding of online authentication, authorization, fraud, or security
- Process improvement experience
- Agile and ADO experience in large, regulated organizations
- Proven ability to manage large-scale initiatives and effectively partner with stakeholders across business and technical teams
- Proven ability to manage process discovery, process modelling, and process improvement activities
- Experience synthesizing complex analytical findings into executive level communications
- Experience synthesizing data to form a story and align information to contrast or compare to industry perspective and historical business trends
Bonus points if you have:
- Degree in IT, or related discipline
- Relevant Business Analysis courses or qualifications
- Experience in Financial Services industry
- Experience in IBM Business Automation Workflow

Compensation. If based in Denver, CO: $95,000 – $110,000 USD per year, depending on experience. This base pay range is specific to Denver and may not be applicable to other locations.
