Arcadis is looking for a full time Senior Transit Track Engineer to join our team in the New York City vicinity as part of our Mobility Business Area.

Role description:
You will be involved in the planning, design and construction of underground and above-ground transit stations, tunnels, bridges, and other infrastructure. We are looking for someone with a strong grasp of track design principles who can be the track lead on projects supported by a team of engineers. You will have the opportunity to develop and lead a local team.
Role accountabilities:
- Lead the design of new and existing track facilities within transit infrastructure.
- Lead a design team and manage projects, including being the primary point of contact with the client and other collaborators.
- Manage and take responsibility for the production of analysis, calculations, models, drawings, reports, and technical specifications.
- Exercise mature engineering judgement whilst contributing to the design and development of engineering solutions, identifying constraints, opportunities and buildability issues based upon analysis, experience, and judgement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10 or more years of professional transit design work experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- PE – New York or New Jersey (or ability to get one within six months)

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start date, and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $122,000 – $183,000.
