Arcadis is seeking a Part Time as Needed (PTAN) Senior Transportation Engineerto join our Transportation team in our Cleveland, OH office to primarily perform quality control plan reviews and function as a technical resource.

Role description:
Arcadis’ Mobility infrastructure group executes engineering projects for various roadway types including collector streets, urban arterials, rural and urban expressways, interstates, and interstate interchanges. The Arcadis Ohio team is expanding and involved in providing solutions to some of the most complex and exciting highway design challenges.
Role accountabilities:
- Serving as a professional engineering subject matter expert and/ or technical advisor for roadway design projects of varying size and scope.
- Mentoring and providing direction to junior staff and design/drafters.
- Interaction with client technical staff, either as a team or individual, making presentations and managing client expectations.
- Performing various roles on multi-disciplined projects including QA/QC reviewer, technical advisor, design leader and/or client facing project manager.
- Preparation or review of written reports, calculations, and other design documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of related work experience.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree
- Ohio Professional Engineering license
Key Skills and Attributes
- Significant design and management experience with transportation engineering projects
- Strong technical understanding of client requirements and standards for various transportation clients in the Ohio market.
- Strong relationships with local clients to resolve challenging technical issues efficiently.
- Ability to provide technical review of construction plans, specifications, and estimates in accordance with client requirements.
- Proficiency with ODOT design standards and policies
Preferred Qualifications
- Limited access and interchange design experience.
- Ability to navigate Project Wise files and provide review comments.
- Ability to use design review software including BlueBeam.
- ODOT experience highly preferred.
- Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations.

We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start date, and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $97600 – $146400.
